Doll Making

A collection of handmade dolls- originals and made-to order pieces. Each piece is constructed on a metal armature and wrapped with cotton, yarn, and fabric to create the silhouette. The head is carefully sculpted from polymer clay, painted, and has the hairstyles meticulously installed. Once the foundation is complete, I use thrifted and scrap materials to create clothing, jewelry, and other accessories to bring the character to life. ( Not literally though!)
